twice in 1 week

So i have not been to Henry's tavern in downtown portland in almost a year...and now i have been there twice in a week. Unfortunately i did not have my camera, but I do have a link to their current beer menu in PDF format.

On this list, i enjoyed 2 IPA's of course. Side note, maybe this blog should be called mmmIPA, just a thought. Anyway, first off I had one called Ninkasi total Domination (site has some work to be done).

This was fantastic. Very cloudy, and sharp. This was a great way to start the dinner. A strong IPA flavor, but not any where near close to well, the Imperial IPA's i so enjoy. It was good. I would put it near the top of middle to high end IPA's

The second one was a Dog Fish Head 60 minute IPA, not bad for east coast. Now this is a relative of their 90 minute IPA. but just not that great. I have not figured it out quite yet, but when you can see clearly through an IPA, it just seems to be missing some body. When i can see through them, they almost come off as more of an amber then an IPA. So this was good...no where near the corked 90 minute i had for my birthday about 5 years ago, but thinking about it, they are no where near my favorites.
